Share the music

The Share the Music Foundation was founded in 2022 to put the Capital City on the map as a destination for internationally renowned artists by bringing them to the Lansing area for intimate and inspiring outdoor concerts.

All profits from the Backyard Bash have been donated to community charities. Over the past four seasons, we’ve raised more than $30,000 for local organizations.

All proceeds from the 2026 Backyard Bash concert series will benefit the MSU Community Music School - East Lansing and its financial aid program.
